“Home for the Winter” is a new Christmas ornament. Chickadees happen to be one of my favorite birds. As I read about them, to my surprise, you can’t always distinguish the difference between the male and female.
This chart was stitched on 32 Count Belfast Storm Linen by PTPC, cross stitching over two threads using two strands of each type of floss WDW, GA Sampler and CCW floss. The chickadees are all stitched over one thread using one strand of DMC floss. WDW Icicle was used for the french knots on the chickadee’s eyes.
