LACING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PENDENTS:

Lacing isn’t hard and it doesn’t take long.

  • Press stitching on the back side if needed.

  • Place stitching over mat board. Adjust to fit and cut excess fabric leaving ½”’ to ¾” on all four sides.

  • Baste the edge of your stitching on all four sides.

  • Thread needle with long strong thread.

  • Center stitching over mat board, fold side panels to the back and hold with fingers or pin in place.

  • Secure needle at top right corner flap. Take thread straight down and attach to bottom flap. Go up and down heading to the left from one flap to another reaching the end leaving thread end loose.

  • While loose center stitching on the front.

  • Thread needle with long strong thread again.

  • Fold remaining side panels to the back and hold with fingers or pin in place.

  • Secure thread again on the top right corner on other two flaps and repeat the same steps until finished.

  • While loose again center stitching on mat board if needed.

  • Starting from the right, heading to the left, pull each lacing thread up one at a time to take out the slack working both sides.

  • Once completed secure threads to fabric.
