In the Beginning with Adam & Eve
Item#101
This clock not only tells time but it represents and describes time as being infinite and everlasting. The design begins at the top with Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden tempted by the serpent and eating from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. At the bottom the Lion and the Lamb lying down together represents the time of peace when Jesus will reign as King over the Earth.
The model was stitched on 28ct evenweave over one measuring approxomitely 5w x 11.5h. Choose your favorite 28ct linen as the design covers the entire fabric. Coded for DMC floss colors with Gentle Art, and Weeks Dye Works colors used only for the grass.
This piece received one of the Special Awards as Judges' Choice receiving a Blue Ribbon at the 46th Annual National Needlework Exhibition at the Woodlawn Plantation in Alexandria, Virginia in 2009.
I always welcome questions and comments.
Happy Stitching!
